Christmas Dreams: ‘Tis The Season For Decadent Velvet

This Christmas, sugar plum fairies will NOT be dancing around in my head…but divinely luxurious velvet tuxedos will be!  Rich, lavish, glamorous and decadent, the velvet tuxedo is the style hallmark of the holiday season. Hey, even Santa himself joined the holiday velvet movement with his iconic Christmas suit. In addition to velvet, the holidays are also a great excuse for men to add a little sparkle to their attire. Check out some of the suits below that will surely make a festive splash for a stylish New Years Eve Party like no other! So if Santa is down with the velvet, so can you! Well, with a little help from these fine holiday inspirational looks chosen by moi below! Enjoy!

LOL! Well…I’m sure your man will look dapper! Thanks so much for your comment and let me know how your stylish NYE goes this year :). I’m looking forward to a NYE party look book post from you. I’m sure both of you will be killing the fashion game!

I rarely if ever wear the velvet blazer with the velvet trousers… Only if I wear black suit with black shirt and scarf. Frankly, I prefer the velvet blazer with the Scottish tartan black-check trousers and patina black shoes and of course – the tartan diamond cut bow-tie and pocket-square…
These pics look like Tom Ford’s collections from previous seasons.

I do believe your are right about these looks coming from Tom Ford. I would love to see your interpretation of the velvet blazer with the tartan trousers and bow tie…sounds absolutely dapper! Thanks for your comment!

Love all three looks! In fact, I really want that Kolor dinner jacket and purple Ralph Lauren blazer! Also, I’m a big fan of New an Lingwood so I would have to get those pants. Thanks for your comment and for sharing these wonderful options!
