Award Show Season Left-Overs: The 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards (Australia)

Well, my bow ties, the time has come for our second stop aboard the GQ Men of the Year extravaganza!  That’s right, as discussed in my last post (click me!), when GQ Magazine decides to throw an awards show, they go balls to the wall buck wild and do it up big!  Who says you only need one awards show when you can have several and choose from among a mile long list of countries to host it?  With GQ, more is better and in this instance, I for one, completely agree.  Why? Well, for starters, the dapper attire!  The one thing all these “Men of the Year” shindigs have in common are the exceptionally well-dressed gentlemen in dashing tuxedos gracing our fashion craved eyeballs with their presence.   It’s good for your eyeballs, good for your soul and for the overall well-being of the entire world!  Yes, my bow ties, the power of good fashion is that influential.

Speaking of well-dressed gentlemen, there’s just one tincy-wincy-itty-bitty wee-bit of a problem.  Miniscule really.  Tiny!  Ummm… I… don’t… uh… hmmm?  Okay, I don’t know who… any of these men are.  Hahaha! Really.  I have no clue.  Not nary of them… well, I do know at least one ( I see you James Franco’s brother).  But the rest might as well be RyanEfronLiamGolsingZac to me!  And it doesn’t matter.  No. No.  You needn’t bother with names of faces when good fashion is in your presence.  We already know what’s important and why waste precious time with useless facts! Right? Right.

So, without further ado, light the Barbie, throw on your bathers and head to the beach. It’s the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards best dressed men – Outback Edition! Enjoy 🙂

Yes, I’m afraid I’m not familiar with these gentlemen. I believe some are actors, models and athletes? But, I’m not sure. The black on black suit worn by Mr. Klim seems to be a popular choice with the ladies. I agree…he looks very chic. Thanks for your comment and for stopping by the Academy
